Israel won’t interfere with PA police stations, as a goodwill gesture to Abbas

As a goodwill gesture to President Mahmoud Abbas, Israel may turn a blind eye on the two newly established Palestinian Authority police stations in villages bordering Jerusalem, which were built without Israeli approval. This would be part of a larger package of goodwill gestures Israel is expected to make to Abbas in an effort to renew direct peace negotiations with the Palestinians.
